On a Sunday morning we run a group for all young people from 3 years up.
The group starts about 10-15 minutes into our Sunday morning church service when it will be made known that it's time for the children who wish to leave to go to Junior Church. We have a team of dedicated volunteers of a variety of ages who help to develop the children's understanding of the bible through a variety of fun activities. These can include but aren't limited to acting out bible stories, craft activities, singing, playing games and watching videos. We even provide toast and a drink for the children which is always a firm favourite.
We asked the children to draw us a picture of themselves- as seen below. At the same time we asked them what they most enjoy about 'Junior Church' which included watching bible story videos, activities/parties and spending time with friends.
So please feel free to bring your children along to church knowing that they will be made to feel welcome and will be able to learn about God in a friendly group of their peers.
